Brief Introduction
I’m a senior in the electrical and computer engineering technology program at Penn State Behrend, and will be graduating in May of 2025. I have more than four years experience working in teams and individually to design, build, and test circuits, including projects with PLC systems, Digital Logical Controls, and microcontrollers. I’ve explored a variety of career paths -including marine biology, psychology, and computer information sciences – and have learned invaluable skills from each.
Currently, I’m exploring Solar Energy Conversion systems, with the intention of joining the Green Energy Industry post-graduation. I strongly belive in doing everything that is within our own abilities to help the world around us – with a passion for renewable energy and growing skills in technology and power systems, I’ll soon be doing my part to save our planet.
Educational Journey
I’ve always had a passion for learning, and often ran circles around my high school teachers. However, it posed a bit of a problem when I move on to college; I wanted to study every topic, from Biology to Chemistry, from English Literature to Archeology, even Robotics to Genetics. I hopped from one degree to another, transferring universities each time, until I discovered a field which offered the best of all worlds; Technology.
Engineering is the backbone of our society. Our communications, transportation, power generation and distribution, medicine, education, and even daily consumerism are all supported by advancing technologies. I have the privilege of being part of a field which supports every other industry, and the work we accomplish together can transform our world into its best self.
